In Tong-Nou

Mai-chiu runs a stand in the Phantom Marketplace where the player can trade with him for useful items.

Tong-Nou Book Entry

Able merchant who manages the Phantom Marketplace Hou-ang alone. The Phantom Marketplace Hou-ang appears and vanishes along with Mai-chiu's ever-changing moods. The only identification is the Eyeball-Stone. Where you find the Eyeball-Stone, there is a way to the Phantom Marketplace Hou-ang.

Likes

The marketplace is based on an exchange system. Mai-chiu is a weirdo who just loves the trading business. Therefore, the exchange regulations can be quite unique.

Dislikes

Customers who do not appreciate his merchandise value or exchange regulation can stimulate his anger. Also dislikes customers who think money buys everything.

In Chu-Teng

Mai-chiu has left Tong-Nou and now works as the cook of the Star Palace. He can be found in the Cook's Room, the 17th room of the Star Palace. If given a live Torikara, he will use it to cook Yakitori and give it to you. If given a dead Torikara, he will simply throw it away.

A light of the Star Palace. Found in the Cook's Room. He is a former market merchant who became a cook for the Star Palace.

Personality

In order to create ingenious dishes which appreciate the flash of inspiration from encountering ingredients, Mai-chiu exhibits pickiness about ingredients. If you displease him, he will not be able to cook well.
